Dear Paul -
Thanks for the update. The pretzels will keep coming and especially the tea since it has been much easier to find. The coffee is not so easy. T.J. Maxx has almost every other coffee you can imagine and I was sorely tempted to send some of the odder types. But didn't want to take up package space. Sent another two boxes this week by way of cleaning up all the boxes on the floor. Lots of really odd things but they should at least be good for a laugh.
The ladies and I were in Chicago to see Wicked and I'm sure Tannie has filled you in on that trip. Wonderful to see the Windy City and the "Serious Tower". We couldn't get what Mady was talking about when she said that then the light dawned when she asked about going to the top again. What she was talking about was the Sears Tower. She is a real Chicago lover and I would like to spend another week-end up there just visiting all the old places. We stayed at a hotel just across from Wacker Drive where the building I worked in about sixty years ago (yes, sixty years ago). Great old building and it looks much the same. Didn't have the heart to walk over to see it closer tho. I think I'm getting old. But better.
Christmas was great and quiet. I hope everyone was pleased with their gifts. Little Joey is a hoot and Harmony looks very much like Andy. I hope t get up to visit in March but may have to wait til late in the month. My Mikey is going to be in Boston again for his company almost the entire month and Deb wants to go back to visit. So I will be on dog duty again. I really don't mind that. Deb's dogs are real loves.
Mr. Pete was down this week-end to take things out of his storage place and then wanted to take a picture of his for his new office space. When he took it out from under a cabinet it proved to be a bit dusty - well, a lot dusty. Mostly from the carpet, but I guess I will have to do some early spring cleaning. Ugh. Don't like dusting one bit. Actually, don't care for any cleaning much anymore. Prefer to read a book.
Guess I will end this nonsense. Now I know why the price of gas is climbing. I think you might consider getting a camel or two for your deliveries. Well, perhaps not. They spit and they smell. When Gail and I were in Egypt so long ago I did ride on a camel. Briefly but that was definitely enough. Too high, too bumpy and like being on a ship. And I do not do ships well at all. And I think they would prefer a much sandier enviornment. Oh well, just keep up what you are doing. Take care and much love and hugs and pretzels from your Grandma B.
