So, life in Iraq gets a little crazy during Ramadan. Needless to say, the wacky Muslims here get a little agitated and tend to be a little more violent. But, all is well for me, my Soldiers, and the Soldiers of the Battalion. Things have been going relatively well considering the circumstances. In less than 90 days we have planned for and executed the completion of over 1,000 TMRs (Transportation Movement Request), drive nearly a quarter of a million miles, pushed nearly 2 million gallons of fuel. We are defiantly kicking some Logistical Butt! Tuesday last week, I completed my third convoy. It was a long one and very tiresome, but I did some good and found a new system to use with that support unit to make both our lives easier.
Okay, I will write some more when I get a chance. I miss you all and love you. Erin, I miss you and cannot wait to hold you and kiss you again.
