Well, it has been a busy few weeks. We are getting ready for school to start (Yeah from mom!! - Can't wait to get my quite home office back) on Tuesday. Rachael is starting middle school and Todd is going to be a junior.
Todd has started football and there have been two games. They have lost both by 1 touchdown. The first game Todd did play a little but not very much and the 2nd game he played almost the whole game. He is doing very well and we are very proud of his hard work to get back on the field after taking 2 years off. Quite an accomplishment to be such a part of the game after a hiatus for golf. Boys golf in Michigan has been moved to the spring due to a lawsuit brought against MHSAA by a few girls parents who stated that the girls were not being treated equally. Anyways, it worked for Todd as he can now play all the sports he loves - football, basketball and golf.
Rachael should be starting soccer here pretty soon - she can not wait to start middle school next week. She now has a new cell phone that is capable of calling anyone rather than her old 4 number phone. She thinks she is big stuff now. Actually, she is calling/texting Mike and I all the time. Erin, if you want send her a text - her number is still the same - she would love it!
Sara is gone for the weekend. She went up with Matt (boyfriend of 5 years) to move him in for his second year of college at Michigan Tech. She will be home on Monday and miss him until he comes home for the holidays. We will all miss him! She has started her fall term at LCC and seems to like the classes that she has.
Todd & I went and got our tattoos last night. I was very nervous but it was not as bad as I had anticipated. I will post a photo later. It was a neat mother/son/father excursion. Mike came and held our hands. Actually, he liked watching the procedure!
Paul, I sent a package out to you on Wednesday - just curious when you receive it. It has lots of goodies in it. Putting together another on for you now.
